Machakos Water Supply Project Contract Signed by JWHC Kenya Ltd

On December 14, JWHC Kenya Ltd. and Athi Water Services Board signed the construction contract for Machakos Water Supply Project at Ministry of Water and Sanitation (MWS). Mr. He Xiang, General Manager of JWHC Kenya Ltd. and Mr. Michael M. Thuita, CEO of Athi Water Services Board, attended the contract signing ceremony. H.E. Mr. Simon K. Chelugui, Cabinet Secretary of MWS, presided over and witnessed the ceremony. 
H.E. Mr. Chelugui firstly welcomed all people presented at the ceremony and congratulated JWHC as the successful bidder of the project. He pointed out that Machakos Water Supply Project, as one of the flagship livelihood projects of MWS, contributes significantly to the improvement of currently water supply and hygiene conditions of Machakos County. MWS shall pay close attention to the progress of the project. He appealed that all project teams unite and cooperate as one to ensure the sound and timely delivery of the project. 
Mr. He Xiang committed that as an experienced international contractor with a long history of 62 years, we are confident to work in a good terms with all parties and shall deliver the project with joint effort, living up to the trust and expectation all parties place in us. 
Other attendants of the ceremony are: H.E. Mr. Francis Maliti, Ag. County Governor of Machakos County, Eng. SAO Alima, Deputy Water Secretary of MWS, Ms. Naomi Mutie, Machakos County Minister of Water and Irrigation, representatives of the project consulting team and marketing officers of JWHC Kenya Ltd.

12月14日，肯尼亚公司与阿西水务委员会在肯尼亚水利资源部签订马查科斯供水项目施工合同，分公司总经理贺翔与阿西水务委员会业主代表 Micheal M. Thuita先生共同出席合同签约仪式，水利资源部部长Simon K. Chelugui阁下主持并见证了签约仪式。

在签约仪式上，Chelugui阁下首先对出席马查科斯供水项目合同签约仪式的所有人员表示欢迎，并就公司中标该项目表示祝贺。他指出，马查科斯供水项目是肯尼亚水利资源部又一具有代表性的民生工程，对改善马查科斯郡当前的供水状况、居民用水卫生具有重大意义，水利资源部将密切关注项目进展，希望项目各团队团结一致、精诚合作，确保项目保质保量按时完工。

分公司总经理贺翔表示，江西水建是一家有着62年悠久历史的施工单位，经验丰富，我们有信心与各方友好合作，共同把马查科斯供水项目做好，不辜负各方对我们的信任和期待。

出席签约仪式的还有：马查科斯郡行政长官Francis Maliti阁下、水利资源部水务司副司长SAO Alima先生、马查科斯郡水利灌溉局局长Naomi Mutie夫人、项目咨询团队代表以及分公司市场部人员等。
